Greater Lake Mathews Rural Trail Association
Mission Statement;
GLMRTA is a non-profit organization created to protect and enhance the rural trails for the use of equestrian, hiking and family activities. We are committed to preserving our community trails in the face of commercial and residential growth and improving relations between horsemen and residents of the community. We promote and educate the children, youth and adults about the recreational advantages of the trails and its general welfare in the interest of horseback riding, hiking, and the use of horse drawn vehicles through local, community and regional trails and their connecting points. We provide educational activities to promote a safe and healthy rural environment. We encourage equestrians to work and plan together in their enjoyment of horses and horse sports. We are committed to inspiring stewardship of our environment now and generations to come.
